Conservatives Are Weird

  To no one's surprise, Donald Trump's press conference was a rambling stream of lies and complaining yesterday. What is probably the weirdest (or gross) thing he said was when he compared the crowd sizes at the January 6th insurrection to the crowd size at Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have A Dream" speech. I put this one right next to him bragging about Trump Tower being the tallest building in NYC after the Twin Towers fell. Politics aside, this should disgust every American.

  Just like Donald Trump, his fans seem to be willingly to turn against anyone who defies him faster than JD Vance finishes on the couch. Kyle Rittenhouse announced several days ago that he did not plan to support Donald Trump because he isn't strong enough on the Second Amendment, Rittenhouse's most important voting issue. Of course, he immediately backtracked after receiving intsense backlash from his fan base but it appears the damage has been done. Now the MAGA faithful are accusing Rittenhouse of being a trans man. Apparently, being trans is the worst possible thing a person can do. Which in itself is weird and disgusting. But the reality is this is just a way of separating "us" and "them" in their eyes. ANY level of disloyalty to their supreme leader means you are exiled. And let's be honest, this is just the easiest label they could've gone with for Rittenhouse. Being a member of the "other" race, religion and/or ethnicity could just...

  It's already weird enough to make YOUR signage at YOUR rally about the other candidate (a sign that the Republicans have nothing to run on and instead are just stroking fear of their opponent). But if you'e going to do it, at least do it right. At a recent speech by JD "Sofa King" Vance, he stood in front of a sign that read "KAMALA CHAOS." However, clearly no one thought this through because they then had people stand in front of said sign, completely blocking the word chaos. So now it just looks like JD Vance is campaigning for Kamala Harris. Well done, guys.

  The level of projection is truly astounding sometimes. I wasn't the least bit surprised when I heard that Grindr was experiencing outages during the RNC because too many times I've seen conservatives discovered to be secretly engaging in homosexual activities. Anyone remember Larry Craig ? But this is a new level. Because there's nothing wrong with engaging in sexual acts with another consulting adults, regardless of gender. However, doing this with children is absolutely wrong, not to mention, disgusting. So while the projection is similar in both cases, with this, there's a clear moral line being crossed that both sides of the political aisle can agree on. My question to conservatives who truly oppose pedophilia is, what are you doing to catch these people within your own tribe?   It always surprises me when I come across something like this that apparently happened years ago and somehow I missed it. To give her credit, her shirt says "DONALD TRUMP / FINALLY SOMEONE WITH THE BALLS." So while I wouldn't call it clever, at least she's matching? Now why she chose this particular variation of the anatomy in question, let's just chalk it up to wishful thinking? To anyone who might have come across this woman in person and touched this thing, I really hope you washed your hands because I shudder to think where else that thing has been.   Will Johnson, a host of Let's Talk About It on Mike Lindell's TV network is now claiming that demons have caused Kamala Harris to identify as black and that she should take a DNA test to prove she's black.  Unfortunately, this isn't exactly new. There's something called colorism, where one discriminates against another person, not just based on their race or ethnicity but on the literal level of darkness in their skin tone. And while it's often talked about in regards to white people favoring black people with lighter skin tones, it can also occur in the opposite direction within the African American community. I've heard stories from lighter-skinned black women where they say they've been criticized by darker-skinned women for not "really" being black. Is this weird? Yup. It is also sad? Absolutely.
